We set out on our journey way back in 1964. From our humble beginnings, we have come a long way. What started as a modest jewellery store is today a chain of jewellery retail stores across the country. We have successfully launched our e-commerce platform that reaches out to customers in India and abroad. Today, we also have Jos Alukkas Digi Gold and other online plans that let customers make smart investments easily. Our group has also diversified into the real estate business under the brand name Jos Alukkas Properties. We have touched lives by building dream homes since 2007. The Jos Alukkas family is now 3,500 members strong, a team committed to our customers in everything we do.

Jos Alukkas is a name to reckon in the jewellery industry. Designing jewellery in gold, diamond and platinum for over five decades, Jos Alukkas is the first ISO 9001:2000 certified jewellery group in the world showcasing BIS certified 916 hallmarked gold. The jewellery brand has become a trusted name in quality, innovation, trendy jewellery, with 49-plus showrooms and an online store too. We are committed to the quality and purity of the jewellery we craft. Jos Alukkas group is now headed by Sri.A.V.Jose.His three sons, Sri.Varghese Alukkas, Sri.Paul.J.Alukkas and Sri. John Alukkas are the Managing Director. They revolutionised the market with the innovative concept of the Gold supermarket.

Jos Alukka's father, Alukkas Varghese, entered the gold business in the year 1964. Jos, being the eldest son, took charge of the business and led the entire team to prosperity.

At first, the Group opened its showrooms in various cities of Kerala. Under the inspiring leadership of Mr. Jos Alukkas, the Jos Alukkas Group opened more than 64 jewellery showrooms all over India. Their unique system of working, foresight, and improved method of planning popularised the brand and paved the way for opening Gold Super Markets. Jos Alukkas is the pioneer of this concept in Kerala, and soon many jewellery groups adopted the concept. Adherence to quality and purity made Alukkas Jewellery a household name in gold purchases. Every piece of jewellery at all our showrooms is carved out of pure 22k gold.

Age has not dampened the spirits of Mr. Jos Alukkas, a man of many business interests and ideas. Jos Alukkas Properties is another project of pride headed by Mr. Alukkas, and it has been successfully building dreams for many years now. Beyond business, Jos Alukkas is passionate about sports and is also actively involved in the cultural and arts scene of his hometown, Thrissur.
